General
Only undergraduate students enrolled at UC San Diego for at least one quarter during the 2025-2026 school year (i.e. Fall 2025 or Winter 2026) are eligible to attend. Summer sessions from 2025 or 2026 are not applicable. Graduate students are also eligible to purchase a ticket.
The undergraduate student activity fee provides the majority of the funding for the concert. Summer session funding from 2025 and 2026 do not contribute to this fee.
Re-entry will not be allowed at the Sun God festival.
No - all UC San Diego undergraduate students must register and present their ticket in order to enter the festival grounds. Digital tickets will be emailed the day before the festival to all those who registered by the registration deadline.
Only international or extension students whose PID begins with the letter "A" are eligible to register. All other eligibility requirements must be met.
A valid UCSD student ID is required to attend. Lost IDs for graduated students cannot be replaced. Please contact the Campus Cards Office for more information.
No. Campus ID cards are not transferable. Misuse of a UCSD ID card is a violation of the University Standards of Conduct and the UCSD Principles of Community. Students who allow someone else to use their ID card will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and subject to the student conduct process which may include probation, suspension, educational, or other sanctions.
All guests must be 17+ years of age to enter. (Valid UCSD ID required)
No, festival wristbands are not being issued this year. If you registered to attend the festival, a digital ticket with a unique QR code will be emailed to you the day before the festival. Just bring your virtual ticket and your campus ID card to be admitted.

Summer sessions from 2025 or 2026 are not applicable. Ticket does not guarantee entry. Venue subject to capacity restrictions. A limited number of graduate student tickets are available for purchase. All deadlines and other eligibility requirements apply. In order to receive a ticket, one must have registered for the festival by the deadline and be compliant with the UC San Diego COVID Compliance Policy. Failure to do this will result in you not receiving a ticket to enter the event. Student attendees are reminded that they are subject to the University Standards of Conduct, including the Student Conduct Procedures, and are encouraged to conduct themselves accordingly. Medical Amnesty Program: Students are strongly encouraged to seek medical assistance for emergencies related to alcohol, controlled substances, or Sexual Violence and Sexual Harassment by contacting the closest University or Public Official, campus police (858-534-HELP / 4357), or 911. Students who are afraid to seek help because of violations of the Student Conduct Procedures will not be subject to the formal student conduct process, so long as they are seeking help for themselves or others under the Medical Amnesty Program. Your ticket and unique QR code are not transferable. The theft, conversion or misuse of it, such as selling it to another individual, will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and subject to the student conduct process.
